Dharma Practice Dates

Buddha Days and full and new moons are auspicios days and good for practice. On this days Lama Zopa Rimpoche recommends taking the Eight Mahayana Precepts in addition to any prayers and practice we engage in. 
Buddha Days – November 13 – Lord Buddha’s actual descent from God Realm of Thirty-three 
Full and New Moons – Tibetan 15th and 30th days – October 8, 23, November 6, 22, Decembre 6, 21 
Accordin to Choden Rimpoche one of Lama Zopa Rimpoche’s teachers observation of auspicios days should be according to the date in India, not the date in one’s home country. Therefore when Lama Zopa Rimpoche is not in India Rimpoche celebrate Buddha Days and outher auspicios dates according to the time in India.
